Soy candle wax has what’s called a memory, meaning when you burn it, the next time you burn your candle it will only melt across as far as it did the first time. That's why it's really important to let your soy candles burn all the way out to the edges of the container the first time you burn before extinguishing it. This will avoid a 'tunnel' effect and you'll get more burn time out of your candle.
